Fighting Illini wrestler Steven Rodrigues kept it close through two periods against Ohio State's Bo Jordan, but ultimately lost a 10-2 major decision and failed to advance to the 165lb semifinals. Rodrigues is 27-0 against wrestlers outside the Jordan family this year. His four losses have all come at the hands of Bo and his cousin Isaac (wrestling for Wisconsin).At this point he must feel haunted. Personally, I'd love to see him defeat a Jordan, but it'll have to be in the consolation bracket. He'll take on one of four potential challengers in the wrestleback in today's late session.
