Bill Cubit and the Fighting Illini have received their third verbal commitment of the day. Via his Twitter account, three-star defensive lineman Izon Pulley (Olney, MD) became the latest member of Illinois' 2016 recruiting class. The former Miami (FL) commit had other scholarship offers from Iowa, Temple, Boston College, Cincinnati, and UConn.

Three-star offensive lineman Eddy Fish, and three-star linebacker De'le Harding have also given verbal commitments to Illinois on Monday.
Scouting Report
Pulley has the size of a defensive end, but could add a lot of weight and move inside in college. He gets off the ball well, but he needs to work on disengaging when he is blocked. His motor does not stop. He has good body control and balance, and he can take on a block and get back into the play down the field. He needs to work on his speed for backside pursuit, and also on using his hands to deter offensive linemen from blocking.
