Lovie Smith and his coaching staff are a few weeks into their first full offseason of recruiting and, so far, the early results have been pretty good. Two recent JUCO commitments from three-star quarterback Dwayne Lawson and four-star linebacker DelShawn Phillips ended a prolonged stretch of no tangible news, and assistants are already hinting at more possible additions on social media.

But for now the streak continued on Thursday night, as three-star wide receiver Louis Dorsey (FL) announced that he’ll be taking an official visit to Champaign on January 20. The 6-foot-6 prospect is rated as the nation’s No. 31 wideout by 247Sports.
