The Illinois men's basketball team led from start to finish in a 95-51 exhibition victory over Lewis Friday night. Six Illini scored in double figures and Illinois outrebounded the Division II Flyers 47-25.
Jalen Coleman-Lands led the Illini with 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting including 3-8 from three-point range. Michael Finke, Maverick Morgan and Malcolm Hill added 13 points apiece and each had seven or more rebounds.
Illinois shot 34-59 (58%) as a team and hit nine threes in its final exhibition tune up. The Fighting Illini open the regular season a week from today (Nov. 11) against Southeast Missouri State in its first of five straight games at State Farm Center.
