It's been a pretty good morning for Bill Cubit and the Fighting Illini. While concluding his official visit, class-of-2016 defensive lineman Tymir Oliver (Philadelphia, PA) became the latest prospect to give a verbal commitment to the coaching staff. The six-foot-three, 265 lb. lineman held other scholarship offers from Rutgers, Boston College, UConn, Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Temple.
Oliver is Illinois' second verbal commitment day; the first was two-star defensive back Evan Jones.
