According to Scout's Derek Piper, two of Illinois basketball's top recruiting targets are in town for Friday night's football season opener against Kent State.
Four-star 2016 point guard Charlie Moore (Chicago, IL) is taking an unofficial visit; he's ranked as the No. 82 recruit in the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 59 player in Rivals' rankings. Moore also has an official visit scheduled for the weekend of September 25th.

Four-star 2017 combo guard Da'Monte Williams is also in town for his own unofficial visit. Although he's best known to Illini fans as being the son of Frank Williams, Da'Monte made quite the name for himself on the AAU circuit this Summer. He was always considered to be one of the top players from the state of Illinois, but he solidified himself as one of the top players in the nation (No. 40 in 247Sports composite rankings).
More good news for #Illini hoops fans. Peoria Manual 2017 guard Da'Monte Williams will visit tonight. @DAWilliams14 http://t.co/7M0jS05Smz
