Illinois' men's basketball schedule is officially finalized, and even though we already knew who the Illini would be playing, we now have T.V. times for every game. 7 of Illinois' non-conference games will not be televised but will still be available on various services such as BTN Plus and ESPN 3. The entirety of Illinois' conference schedule will be televised on either BTN or one of ESPN's services.
More than anything, the announcement of the official scheduling means we are inching closer and closer to tip-off of the college basketball season. While this offseason hasn't been a rose garden for the Fighting Illini basketball program, Groce and company have to be ready to get the season underway. After a very successful non-conference season, Illinois women's volleyball heads into conference play ranked nationally in the top ten. The first conference matchup for the Illini will be against Maryland, and then they will face Rutgers. Illinois won both meetings with Rutgers last season and will look to continue its success when facing both of the Big Ten's newest additions. In other news, the program has recently picked up its 900th win as it looks to have a dominant conference season.

Illinois women's golf placed third last week in a Minnesota Invitational and recently placed sixth at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship. Illinois totaled 26 over par for the three day tournament, finishing just two strokes behind the 22nd ranked Florida Gators. Stephanie Miller and Dana Gattone for the Fighting Illini tied for 18th place individually with a 6 over par 219 for the tournament.
