Two of Illinois' main 2017 targets will be in town for the football game.

John Groce and the Fighting Illini are in store for another big recruiting weekend. According to 247Sports' Jason Thompson, five-star power forward/center Jeremiah Tilmon (East St. Louis, IL) and four-star wing Jordan Goodwin (Belleville, IL) will be in town for the football game on Saturday.

Tilmon, who's unanimously considered to be the No. 1 player in Illinois, is rated as the No. 18 overall player in 247Sports' 2017 composite rankings; he currently holds offers from Illinois, Kansas, Indiana, and Purdue. Here's a quick scouting report via Scout.

At 6-10 and equipped with a 7-2 wingspan, Tilmon has good size and length for the center position. Tilmon is a good area rebounder and solid shot blocker. On the offensive end, Tilmon has good hands and touch around the basket. The form on his mid-range jumpers look good. The next step is developing consistency and a go-to move on offensive, as well as consistently playing hard.

While a commitment from Tilmon is very unlikely at this point in time, Jordan Goodwin may be nearing an early decision. The 6'3 wing has already visited Champaign two other times Summer and he's made no secrets about the fact that Illinois is his No. 1 school. Goodwin currently other offers from Missouri, Purdue, and Virginia Tech.

UPDATE (1:20pm)

According to Derek Piper, three-star wing Javon Pickett will also be in town.
