Illinois Football Recruiting: Griffin Palmer commits to Illini

Illinois has picked up a verbal from a two-star tight end.

Alex Golesh tweeted to let fans know there was good news coming and it didn't take long after that for something to actually happen. Two-star tight end/defensive end Griffin Palmer gave a verbal commitment to the Illini via his Twitter on Tuesday night. The 6'6 St. Louis native was previously committed to Miami (OH) and held other offers from Iowa State, New Mexico, and Illinois State.
