Former Bradley forward Josh Cunningham has announced that he'll be transferring to Dayton --he'll have three years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the upcoming season. His decision comes after cutting his list to Illinois, Dayton, Mississippi State, and Colorado State on May 21st. The former Morgan Park (IL) standout averaged 7.9 points and 7.5 rebounds during his freshman campaign with the Braves.

Cunningham was originally a top-100 recruit in the class of 2014. In a somewhat surprising move, he committed to Bradley over Indiana, St. John's, and South Carolina.
Illinois still has one remaining scholarship for the 2015-16 season, but Cunningham appeared to be the only remaining player that the coaching staff had targeted. So it'll now presumably be rolled over and used in the next recruiting cycle.
