Matt LaCosse and Jon Davis appear to have landed their first post-college jobs Saturday.
LaCosse and Davis, who both played tight end for Illinois, reportedly have signed undrafted free agent deals with NFL teams after the league's draft.
Reports indicate LaCosse signed with the New York Giants and Davis with the Dallas Cowboys. Terms to the deals have yet to be released.
LaCosse, listed at 6-foot-6, 250 pounds, caught 38 career passes for 397 yards and six touchdowns. Davis, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, hauled in 71 career passes for 658 yards and seven touchdowns.
For the first time in program history, Illinois endured its second consecutive draft without having one of its players selected. Illinois was the only Big Ten program to not have a selection in this year's draft.
