I know they're not well respected on this site for the "Illinois can't have nice things" meme, but Off Tackle Empire has an interesting post comparing the average winning percentages of B1G schools for all sports. I was a little surprised to see our Illini at #1, though I suppose I shouldn't be given the dominance of the baseball, tennis, and volleyball teams. This doesn't even include the #3 men's golf team (W-L record is a bit difficult for golf), which would bolster our position even further. Despite the mediocrity that is football and basketball, it's a good time to be an Illini.
