Villanova transfer Dylan Ennis lists Illinois, Baylor, and Oregon as finalists

The standout guard has narrowed his list once again.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, Villanova graduate transfer Dylan Ennis has narrowed his list to Illinois, Baylor, and Oregon; the news comes after an extended face-to-face meeting with John Groce back on April 9th. The former Lake Forest Academy standout averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists for the Wildcats this past season.

Illinois still has one scholarship remaining for the 2014-15 season after the addition of Mike Thorne Jr. last weekend. Ennis, who will be eligible immediately, is a great candidate to fill that spot since point guard is a huge area of need for the Illini.

Ennis will most likely set up some visits this week--we'll make sure to keep you updated if/when that happens.

UPDATE (6:30pm): It sounds like all three visits will be taking place next week
