For the second straight year, all six sessions will be televised and every match carried on ESPN3 throughout the three-day NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis from March 19-21.
The Illini field a full 10-man lineup and are ranked No. 6 in W.I.N. Magazine's Tournament Power Index. Missouri holds the top spot with Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio State and Cornell rounding out the top five.
The Illini have not finished as high as sixth since 2005. Illinois highest team finish was third in 1946. The Illini have produced 22 individual championships. The Ilini placed 13th with 41 points at last year's NCAAs.
