We got a nice surprise on Twitter Friday morning as the team revealed their complete non-conference schedule. We already knew about the big games, but it's nice to finally see the schedule as a whole. Here it is:

After an exhibition, the season gets underway at SFC on November 14th against Georgia Southern. Nothing too special until Thanksgiving when they participate in the Las Vegas Invitational; look for the team to advance past Indiana St. where they'll take on the winner of the Baylor/Memphis matchup. After that, the Illini will travel to Coral Gables to take on Miami for the annual B1G-ACC challenge.
The biggest game of the non-conference slate is against Villanova in the aptly named Jimmy V Classic. The game takes place on December 9th at MSG in New York. Later that week Illinois heads to Chicago to play Oregon at the United Center. Finally, the annual Braggin' Rights game against Missouri is on December 20th.
As far as the conference schedule goes--here's what we know:
Home and away opponents (double play): Michigan, Michigan St, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Purdue
Home only: Indiana, Maryland, Penn St., and Rutgers
Away only: Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio St., Wisconsin
