Lebron James was the first domino to fall in NBA free agency. Since he announced his triumphant return to Cleveland, the rest of the dominos have fallen very quickly. You can say the same thing has happened for The Champaign Room. Our new manager, Jim, was the first domino to fall -- now the rest of the new writers are starting to fall into place.
Hello everyone, my name is Bryce Smith. You may know me from IlliniBoard podcasts or my blog Orange and Blue Craze. I am now here as a contributor for The Champaign Room! I will probably be posting 1-2 times a month with feature stories and things like that. As some of you may know, I'm only 13 years old; what I hope to bring is a young, enthusiastic angle to TCR. Being from Chicago, I'll be following some of the big basketball recruiting stories in the area.
Anyway, I'll try to be funny in my posts (I know we have a lot of that here!) and also provide some good analysis. It's funny that we will have a bunch of writers joining in the middle of July because there isn't much going on this month. Not to worry, we'll still make it fun!
