Yesterday saw the addition of (what should be) the final recruit of the 2014 class in WR Raphael Barr. But what has Tim Beckman's crew done for us lately?
Well, they landed their seventh commit for the 2015 class, offensive lineman Zeke Martin out of Medina, Ohio. Martin is currently not rated by 24/7 and only a two star over at Rivals. He's 6'5" and 280 lbs, so he's got the frame to put on the necessary size.
Stocking up on big bodies isn't a bad idea, but Martin doesn't have the sexiest of offers lists. It's a very Tim Beckman MACtion filled group: Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Ohio, and Toledo. He did also take unofficial visits to Michigan State and West Virginia, which is a little bit more encouraging. None of that seemed to matter for Martin though, as a mere two days after his unofficial visit to Champaign, he decided to become one of us.
