I do believe we're gaining momentum. A mere four days after getting running back Reggie Corbin to change timezones, the Fighting Illini gained another recruit for the the 2015 class. Three-star offensive tackle Adam Solomon is the newest member.
Solomon comes from Indianapolis, which is pretty nice to see. Landing out of state recruits from big cities in the neighboring states always adds an extra taste of sweetness to it all. Adam is already a big boy, coming in at 6'6" and 290 lbs. He should redshirt, but you never really know. I'd prefer to see him sit 2015 out. According to 24/7, he's the third best recruit in the class currently, slotting right ahead of QB Jimmy Fitzgerald.
He even has quite the nice little offer list. The following teams lost out on him: Ball State, Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Purdue, Syracuse, and Western Michigan. He's a target I wanted a good deal, so I'm pretty happy with this.
