Tomorrow is Signing Day for the 2014 football class. While we know the majority of names expected to fax in their letters of intent, it's always fun finding out more of them as the hours go by.
Two star safety/running back Chris James out of Texas has decided he'd like to be an Illini. James had just visited Champaign this weekend and apparently had a pretty good time or at least enjoyed the scenery. There isn't very much information out there in regards to him and it's kind of hard to tell what the plan is since he's listed with two positions. I'd guess he's being brought in as a defensive back, but we'll see.
James also had offers from Iowa State and McNeese State, which is better than having no offers at all. It's not the sexiest of signings, but every body counts. I'm just hoping his career amounts to something more than the last Chris James'.
