Illinois Volleyball has been named the #9 overall seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The Illini will play Murray State in the opening round at Huff Hall in Champaign; the winner of that match will take on the winner of Western Kentucky and Iowa State. The second round game will also be played in Champaign.
Illinois is in the same bracket quadrant as #1 Stanford, #8 Florida, and #16 Kansas. The Illini finished the season at 3rd place in the Big Ten with a record of 24-7 (16-4).
