You Bet Your Ass: Week 14

It's the last week of our regular season. That is terrifying.

It seems like only yesterday that I was teaching multiple members of our writing staff what gambling lines mean, yet here we are in the final week of the regular season and the penultimate week of You Bet Your Ass 2014. While there is no guarantee that Brandon Cain has won, the race is all but over if we're being honest with ourselves. Everything else is still up for grabs though, especially the coveted Brandon Birkhead Trophy given to our last place finisher (may not be a real trophy, may just be a crippling sense of shame).

Whitchurch: You know how the Iron Bowl is the much-hyped battle between two great college footabll programs who hail from the same state? This is the opposite of that.

Cain: If this was a baseball game, it would be a must-see. But it's not. Both teams are 3-8 and haven't won since Oct. 4. Hooisers take it at home.
