We're growing closer and closer to the first-ever College Football Playoff, and with only a few weeks left in the regular season, teams are starting to make a push towards the top four.
Without further ado, here is this week's updated rankings:

A couple interesting things to note here:

Illinois is 1-3 against teams ranked in the CFP Top 25.

- There are five Big Ten teams ranked, but it's looking like Ohio State is the only one with a realistic shot at a playoff berth. Minnesota stayed in the top 25 despite losing to the Buckeyes this past weekend.
- TCU and Ohio State just missed out coming in at 5th and 6th overall respectively. The Horned Frogs were ranked fourth last week.
- The Georgia Bulldogs have two bad losses and are in the top ten overall.
- Alabama cracks the top four teams this week, and vaults all the way from the fifth spot to the #1 overall slot. If the season ended today, the playoff bracket would look like this:
