Quick Recap: Ohio State 55, Illinois 14

The Illini were dominated from start to finish on a Saturday night in Columbus.

Well, that certainly didn't go too well. Let's get right down to business with the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Il buono:

Mike Dudek is good at football. The Illini only completed 13 passes today, but he was able to pull in a team-leading three of them, including a 56-yard gainer out of an insane formation. He also drew a pass interference penalty and was the team's only consistent offense.

Reilly O'Toole? He had a really bad second drive, but overall did a nice job of at least moving the ball a bit on his drives. It's a bit of a stretch to say he played well, but he didn't make any glaring errors today. Yes, I'm aware he had two picks. Both of them were not his fault. Courtesy of Illinois Loyalty, "enjoy" Reilly's two interceptions:

Those plays aren't O'Toole's fault, but I'm sure a bunch of people will hold the interceptions against him in two weeks when they're still calling for Aaron Bailey to start for who-knows-what reason.

Il cattivo:

In lieu of actual writing, which this game certainly doesn't deserve, here is a collection of gifs and vines I viewed on Twitter today that made me feel sad:

Il bruto:

My slow descent into madness, told via tweets that I'm embedding because seriously screw this game:

That girl is my spirit animal, or whatever. This game sucked. Beat Iowa. #BEATIOWA
