Several major upsets took place this past weekend in college football, and the shake-up was reflected in the latest polls.

There are now only three remaining undefeated teams in college football: Mississippi State, Florida State, and... Marshall. The Thundering Herd lead the nation in scoring margin, but they also really haven't played anybody. Sagarin isn't buying it, because they're not even in his Top 25. Three Big Ten teams are ranked (Michigan State, Ohio State, Nebraska). Noticeably absent from all of the rankings are the Minnesota Golden Gophers, who were bounced out of the Top 25 this weekend with Illinois' big upset win. The Spartans and Buckeyes are on a collision course for their meeting in a few weeks, which might determine if any Big Ten teams reach the College Football Playoff. So without further ado, here are the polls:

Looking ahead to Week Ten, there will be a big Thursday night matchup when the 2nd-ranked Florida State Seminoles go on the road to battle the 6-2 Louisville Cardinals. Then on Saturday there will be plenty of great matchups, including #5 Auburn versus #7 Ole Miss, #10 TCU playing the surprising 22nd-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers, and #19 Utah versus #14 Arizona State. Of course the Illini will be on the road at #13 Ohio State for Saturday Night Football on ABC.
