Paul James No Longer Listed On The Football Roster

If you go to the school's official site and look up the Illini football roster you'll notice that Josh Ferguson is suddenly the only player on the team wearing the number six. When the season began that was not the case as Paul James, a key member of our 2013 recruiting class, is no longer listed on the roster.

I have contacted the school to see if I can get an explanation or comment. As of now I have not heard back.

From what I have heard, James' absence from the roster has nothing to do with a discipline issue and the team is hopeful that he'll return.

As to what the issue is, I'm not going to speculate. Hopefully the school will address it soon enough.
