Four-star point guard Quentin Snider was scheduled to visit Illinois on September 28, but that visit will not be happening. Or at the very least, it won't be happening on September 28.
Marcus Jackson dropped this bomb on Twitter Wednesday night.
The rumors are true, Ballard (Ky.) PG Quentin Snider will be visiting #Illini this weekend. Was supposed to visit later this month.

What does this mean? Well, honestly, I don't know for sure. I'd like to think that Snider moving the visit up means he's close to a decision and wants to get his visit to Illinois in before doing that. As for what it means when it comes to where he's going to go, I'm not going to sit here and pretend I know.
Let the message board experts break that down for you.
All I know is that Leron Black committed over the weekend, Snider is visiting this weekend and there are a bunch of rumors about Cliff Alexander and Illinois. And holy crap just imagine if all three decided to come to Illinois. The John Groce statue would be commissioned so fast. Faster than Indiana fans heading to their message boards to accuse Groce of paying players.
