We've been awash in football around here lately and for good reason. The college football season starts in a few hours, after all.
However, we haven't really been ignoring basketball, it's just there hasn't been a lot of news. Though that could totally change this weekend with Leron Black coming to town on his official visit. So the basketball team could have a huge commit come Sunday afternoon.
And in other recruiting news, four-star point guard Quentin Snider has cut his list down to seven schools, and the Illini are one of those seven.
Quentin Snider has narrowed his list of schools to Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Connecticut & USC.

Given that I've read that Snider would like to stay closer to home -- he's from Louisville, which is where he originally committed -- I'd have to think the Illini are in pretty good position here.
