Hylton is listed as a running back by 247Sports.com and as an athlete by Rivals, but odds are that he'll be playing cornerback at Illinois. With Donovonn Young, Josh Ferguson, Dami Ayoola, Kendrick Foster and 2014 commit Matt Domer, the Illini have a lot of youth and talent at the running back position.
Hylton also told Rivals that he will return kicks and punts for the Illini as well.
Hylton's going to need some more work at corner before he sees the field with the Illini, but there are a couple of things he has that you can't teach. At 6'1 he's got good height, and he has speed. Hylton finished second in the 100-meters at state last year.
According to his Rivals profile he runs a 4.4 40-yard dash.
His offers weren't all that amazing, but Hylton was starting to garner interest from schools like Northwestern, Wisconsin and Stanford, and he also camped at Nebraska and Iowa earlier this summer.
