So it turns out Mike Dudek knew what he was talking about. The Illini commit gave us all a bit of a recruiting scoop last week when he said that Matt Domer had told him he was going to commit to Illinois and that he was just "waiting for that to happen."
Well, you don't have to wait anymore. After a visit to Illinois on Monday and Tuesday, Domer took to Twitter to announce his decision.
After talking it over with my family & coaches. With my situation after i leave MC, I Will Be Playing At The University of Illinois #illini

Domer is the eighth member of the 2014 class. He's a 6-foot, 180-pound three-star running back out of Mt. Carmel in Chicago who had offers from Boston College, Syracuse, Kansas, Cincinnati and Indiana amongst others.
I've been following Domer's recruitment for a while now, as I expected this to be his decision, and I like him. He's going to have to add some bulk to his frame, but he shows a ton of potential.
