Mike Dudek, a wide receiver in Illinois' 2014 class, talked to The News-Gazette's Matt Daniels about his feelings on the Wes Lunt news, and while Dudek is understandably happy about the news, it's something else that he said that really caught my attention.
Dudek talked about how he talks to other recruits about coming to Illinois, including three-star running back Matt Domer from Mount Carmel in Chicago. Earlier this week Domer cut his list down to four, saying he was down to Illinois, Indiana, Syracuse and Kansas. Well, according to Dudek, that's not really the case.
"I talk to Matt Domer the most," Dudek told The News-Gazette. "He's told me he's actually going to commit, so I'm just waiting for that to happen."
Which seems to back up this tweet Domer sent to Dudek last week.
Illinois target Matt Domer. RT @DreamBIG_4: I got some good news coming for @MDFlash_7 ...*hint* 😏

Now, is Domer going to commit to Illinois? It certainly seems that way, but we can't know for sure. But if he does, we should remember who broke the story first.
Mike Dudek.
