Rooting for Michigan certainly isn't something that comes natural to me. I don't think it's something that comes naturally to any Illini. But that's what I'll be doing tonight.
My brackets have been busted since the very first Thursday of this tournament, so I have nothing personal to gain. I'm just going to root for Michigan because I want the Big Ten to win a national title. We already know that the Big Ten is the best conference in America, but this conference needs to start winning some damn titles.
And I don't think there's anything that would show how good the Big Ten is better than having the team that finished fifth in the conference knock off the team that began the tournament as the overall #1 in the title game.
So for tonight it's Go Blue, and Go B1G.
