All right, we're not going to waste any time here, we're just going to start with the good news that will make you feel happy down in the pants region.
On Saturday Cliff Alexander said there were three schools that he has in his "top tier" and Illinois was one of them.
Alexander says UK, Michigan State, Illinois are on their own tier at the top. He'll probably start official visits in the fall.

Alexander also said he had in-home visits with Illinois, Michigan State, Kentucky and Kansas this week.
Now, the bad news is that the other two teams in Alexander's top tier are Michigan State and Kentucky, so while we're in that top three, John Groce has his work cut out for him going against Tom Izzo and John Calipari. If Groce can get Alexander in the fold we might commission a statue of the man.
Honestly, I don't want to allow myself to get too excited over the prospect of Cliff Alexander coming here. I'm more in the believe when I see it camp, but man, we're hanging around in this one a lot longer than I thought we would.
If he ends up coming here it's a game-changer.
UPDATE
Cliff tweeted this on Sunday morning.
I DO NOT HAVE A TOP 3
— Cliff Alexander (@humblekid11) April 28, 2013
So Kentucky, Michigan State and Illinois are in their own "tier at the top," but they are not a top three, got it? It could be there was a bit lost in translation between what Cliff said and Bob Roberts heard, though, because the CAPS in that tweet are pretty straightforward.
