Aaron Cosby Includes Illinois In His List Of Options

The Seton Hall transfer listed Illinois among others as his possible landing spot.

USA TODAY Sports

Last week we told you that Illinois was showing interest in Seton Hall transfer Aaron Cosby. In fact, both Illinois and Cosby had already talked about the possibility of him transferring to Champaign, and while the chances of Cosby showing up here remain the same, Cosby himself confirmed the news on Wednesday.

Cosby told Zagsblog that Illinois is one of his finalists.

"As of right now, Baylor, Missouri, Illinois, N.C. State and Kansas State will be making home visits while I'm there," said Cosby.

"Within the next two weeks I will narrow things down to maybe three or four and make officials. Hopefully, I will make my decision at the end of May."

If Cosby, who averaged 12.6 points and 3.0 assists for Seton Hall this season, does end up in Champaign he'll have to sit out next season but will still have two more years of eligibility remaining.
