You may remember Reggie Spearman. He's the linebacker from Simeon who originally committed to Illinois in August, but since then has made a habit of saying he's committed to Illinois while not being committed to Illinois. He's taken trips to Iowa and just last weekend to Syracuse.
And on Tuesday night, a few hours before he was able to officially send in a letter of intent, Spearman told the world he was committed to Iowa.

Which, I'm not going to lie, sucks.
While I haven't been a fan of the way Spearman has treated his recruitment, I don't begrudge him for it either. All I really care about is that he could have helped Illinois on the football field and instead he'll be trying to help Iowa, and I wish him luck.
Now we just hope he's the last defection in the class.
