Nothing between Illinois and Penn State is ever pretty. Nothing.

BURN THE TAPE. BURN IT. WE MUST NEVER SPEAK OF THIS AGAIN. I DO NOT CARE THAT WE WON. BURN THE TAPE. BURN IT LIKE NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN BURNED BEFORE. BURN DOWN THE BUILDING. BURN DOWN THE CAMPUS. BURN DOWN KAMS.

BURN EVERYTHING.

BURN THE MEMORY OF THIS GAME FROM YOUR MIND.

BURN IT ALL.

BURN IT.

Other Things

-- Penn State and Illinois play the worst basketball games. If the Big Ten had any damn sense it would never allow Penn State and Illinois to play another basketball game. In fact, the Big Ten should expand to 20 schools just to help make sure that these two teams never meet on a basketball court ever again.

-- There were 52 fouls called in this game! 52! Penn State had 59 points!

-- NOBODY WHO PLAYED IN THIS GAME ESCAPED WITHOUT A FOUL BEING CALLED ON THEM.

-- If only we could hit our free throws tonight. We shot 36 of them, but missed 13. And that's why this was a close game all night against a terrible team playing terrible basketball.

-- Brandon Paul was good-ish again. He did not have a great night, though nobody on that court did. However, he did finish with 16 points and while he didn't shoot well overall, he did hit some key shots in the second half.

-- Tracy Abrams and Tyler Griffey tonight: a combined 1-for-5 and 0-for-4 from three, finishing with a combined 4 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds. That is not bench production. Thankfully Myke Henry had 7 points, but that's it from the bench.

-- Seriously, BURN THE FUCKING TAPE ALREADY. WHY HAVEN'T YOU BURNED THE TAPE?
