Wisconsin 71 Ohio State 49

Maybe we should be happy that the Illini have lost to Wisconsin twice this season because all Wisconsin does is beat the best teams in the conference. First Indiana, then Michigan and now Ohio State. And this one wasn't even close, as the final score would suggest. The Buckeyes averaged 0.80 points per possession while Wisconsin averaged 1.19. Ben Brust finished tied with Jared Berggren with 15 points to lead Wisconsin, but the little guy also managed to pull in 11 rebounds as well. Just another 6'1 shooting guard getting a double-double. No big deal.

Iowa 72 Minnesota 51

Now this game felt like two different games entirely. Minnesota actually jumped out to a 23-8 lead in this game through the first ten minutes and then Iowa proceeded to outscore the Gophers 64-28 over the final 30 minutes of this contest. That's a 36-point swing, man.

Michigan 79 Penn State 71

Michigan is no doubt happy to get back in the win column these days, but it can't be all that pleased with only being able to beat Penn State by eight points at home. Especially when the Wolverines shot 47% from the floor and got to the free throw line 35 times. Michigan's defense has never really been stellar this season, but it's been particularly bad as of late, and that's why the Wolverines are having so much trouble. I'm not sure a team this young can fix itself so easily, either.

Illinois 62 Northwestern 41

It's nice to kick Northwestern's ass for once.
