Offensive coordinator Bill Cubit signed a contract extension that will keep him with the University of Illinois through the 2015 season. The extension also bumps up his salary about $500,000 per season.
After the extension was announced, Cubit chatted with several reporters about his new contract, the gig, the coaching staff, and the future of Illini football moving forward. Most noteworthy in the interview, however, is his loyalty, which he outright admits may be too strong for his own good.
With an unhealthy loyalty towards Illinois, Bill fits in nicely around here.
