GameThread: Illinois at Indiana

Returning to the scene of the crime.

Andy Lyons

The last time the Illini won a Big Ten game was October 8, 2011 in Bloomington, Indiana. In that 41-20 win Nathan Scheelhaase threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns. It was A.J. Jenkins on the receiving end of most of it, as he finished with 182 yards and two touchdowns.

Obviously it'd be really hard to repeat that performance since A.J. Jenkins is no longer at Illinois, but if he wants to show up in Bloomington today to help out and give an encore, that'd be cool.

If not, hopefully somebody on the team gives a touching tribute to his 2011 performance.

Frankly I don't care what method is used, I'd just like to see a win. I'm tired of this losing streak and would really like The Champaign Room to pop its Big Ten Win Cherry.
