Illinois Opens As A 7.5-Point Underdog Against Indiana

And we all know there's no way in hell a team from Illinois could upset a team from Indiana. That never happens.

Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports

I know I'm feeling better about Illinois football after what I saw on Saturday, but it appears the folks in Vegas are taking more of a wait-and-see approach.

The lines for next week's games have come out and the Illini are currently a 7.5-point underdog on the road against Indiana next week according to Vegas Insider. Though I should point out that the line originally opened at 9.5 before quickly getting knocked down to 7.5.

I also feel the need to point out that Minnesota was a 7.5-point underdog in Bloomington yesterday as well. Hopefully history repeats itself.
