On Saturday a team that is 4-7 on the season, and 1-6 in the Big Ten, will host a team that is 4-7 on the season and 0-7 in the Big Ten.
Yet the visiting team that hasn't won a Big Ten game this season is favored.
Yep, the opening lines for this week's games have been posted, and Northwestern is favored by 3.5 points against the Illini on our Senior Day. The same Northwestern team that has managed to score 13.7 points per game in its last six games -- and that includes four overtimes! -- is a 3.5 point favorite over us, even though we're fifth place champions and the Wildcats will be finishing in last in their division.
And that's fine. WE ALREADY HARBOR PLENTY OF HATE IN OUR HEARTS FOR THE NURDS, BUT THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR MORE.
50-14 #NEVERFORGET. THE LOLHAT WILL BE OURS ONCE AGAIN.
