And so Big Ten play begins for our beloved Illini, who come into today's game having lost 14 straight conference games. Yes, that's right, this game kicks off nearly two years to the day since the last time Illinois won a Big Ten game. That was on October 8, 2011 on the road against Indiana.
The week before that the Illini beat Northwestern in Champaign 38-35.
Those were simpler times. Better times. Let's go back to those times.
Join us in the comments below for today's game. Talk about life, love, happiness and despair. And football too.
