Ryan Lankford 'Probably Out For Season'

Things just get better and better.

So let's recap the day's events. The Illini gave up a touchdown on this play, Nathan Scheelhaase's dad got removed from his seat after getting into an altercation with Michigan State fans, and the Illini ended up losing 42-3.

And just in case that wasn't enough, Tim Beckman dropped this nugget on us after the game.

And, remember, an end of Lankford's season means an end of Lankford's career. Lankford suffered the injury on that double reverse from hell in the first quarter, so it's nice to know that the play not only cost us possession but maybe our best receiver as well.

We'll update Lankford's status when we know more, but until then, get here soon, basketball season.
