Sources tell me Illinois defensive line coach Keith Gilmore will be named defensive line coach at North Carolina. bit.ly/xpkQEX

The coaching turnover just doesn't stop. As you see from the tweet about, defensive line coach Keith Gilmore is reportedly leaving Illinois to take the same job at North Carolina. Which is a blow to this program, as Gilmore has been coaching our defensive line since 2009.
In his four seasons with the team he helped mold Corey Liuget, Whitney Mercilus, Akeem Spence and Michael Buchanan into NFL talent.
This is a blow, no doubt. Hopefully Tim Beckman will be able to find a replacement for Gilmore with as much experience as he found in both Bill Cubit and Jim Bridge. Still, I can't believe Beckman saw this coming. I know I didn't.
