B1G Basketball Diaries: Northwestern's Reign Of Terror Ends

Northwestern's Big Ten title hopes took a hit on Sunday when it lost to lowly Indiana at home.

B1G Basketball Diarie is The Champaign Room's recap of all the basketballs being basketballed around the Big Ten. It is not about Leonardo DiCaprio in any way.

Indiana 67 Northwestern 59

Northwestern never actually had a chance to win this game thanks to a terrible start, but they did hang within 8 points of Indiana, which is a little encouraging for us, right? Also, Northwestern scored 42 points in the second half against Indiana, which is more than they scored in any half against us. So we're better than Indiana.

At least, that's how I translate it.

Cody Zeller followed his nose to 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Hoosiers while Reggie Hearn had 22 points for the Wildcats.
