UPDATE (8/4 at 4:30pm)
According to Illini Inquirer's Derek Piper, Kigab will take an official visit to Illinois from September 16-18.
Just talked w/ top-100 wing @Abu_Kigab23. Confirmed #Illini official visit on Sept. 16-18. Excited for that. Talks w/ Dustin Ford every day.

Kigab played on the Nike EYBL 17u circuit this Summer with the Oakland Soldiers. According to his game log, he averaged 9.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
The Fighting Illini still have three available scholarships to use on the class-of-2017. While it appears a few other players may be above Kigab on the priority list, the program has been looking to add another wing. Nevertheless, this will be another name to keep an eye on as the coaching staff continues to schedule official visits for the coming months.
