He went all "Arizona in the Elite Eight" against the Wizards.

Let's hope the Illini are as hot from three-point land against Ohio State on Sunday as former Illini Deron Williams was against the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

Deron set an NBA record with nine three-pointers made in the first half. Nine! He would then fall off the face of the Earth and hit only two more threes in the second half to finish with a franchise record of 11. He finished the night scoring 42 points on 24 shots.

He had an eFG% of 85.4%.

He is Deron Williams, and he is awesome.
