Northwestern will play at Wrigley Field again and there's a good chance that the Illini could be joining them.
Remember that cold November evening in 2010 when Mikel LeShoure ran for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Illini beat Northwestern 48-27? Remember how the win was even better because it was Northwestern's big day, as the game was played in Wrigley Field and ESPN's Gameday was even in town for the occasion?
Well, it could be happening again soon.
I wrote about Northwestern's new agreement with the Cubs over at Eye On College Football, and while there will be no Northwestern game in 2013, it's possible there will be in 2014. And since they can't schedule games in September or October because of baseball, that means the game will be played in November.
Northwestern's two November home opponents in 2014 are Iowa and Illinois.
