Zeller had 16 points and 5 rebounds in only 18 minutes - Andy Lyons
There's a new trend in the Big Ten this week, and I'm glad the Illini are on the right side of it.
Indiana 76 Nebraska 47
Michigan State started the trend on Tuesday with a 23-point win over Michigan, and Indiana and Illinois continued it on Wednesday. The Hoosiers started the night off by doing exactly what you'd expect Indiana to do to Nebraska: beat the holy hell out of it.
Indiana was 8-for-16 from three and shot 29 free throws, making 24 of them. However, what was strange about this game is that Nebraska led for most of the first half. The Cornhuskers had a 14-11 lead 11 minutes into the game.
And then Indiana outscored Nebraska 65-33 over the final 29 minutes.
But those first 11 minutes were 11 minutes that Nebraska players will never forget.
Illinois 79 Purdue 59
Brandon Paul had only 3 points and fouled out. HE'S THE WORST, OH MY GOD GRADUATE ALREADY YOU SON OF A BITCH.
