Josh Brent Had A Blood Alcohol Level Of 0.18

Josh Brent had about 20 shots worth of alcohol the night of the accident - Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

A report in the Dallas Morning News says that Josh Brent had a blood-alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit at time of the accident.

It's not a secret that Josh Brent was intoxicated the night he was driving and got into a car accident that took the life of his friend and teammate Jerry Brown. What is somewhat shocking, however, was Brent's blood-alcohol content on the night the accident took place. According to the Dallas Morning News, a "law enforcement source close to the investigation" says that Brent had a BAC of 0.18.

That's more than twice the legal limit.

Now, keep in mind that Josh Brent weighs 321 pounds. The Dallas Morning News report says that means Brent would have needed to consume about 20 shots over a four hour period to get his BAC that high.
